Most of my Family sessions take place outdoors in wooded areas and parks . This is where I love to shoot the most and where the natural light during sunrise and sunset is the prettiest! I sometimes do In-Home Lifestyle sessions and those can be so fun and different too!










Outdoor sessions tend to start about an hour before sunset. Which changes with the seasons. If we do a Lifestyle session in your home it will depend on when your house gets the best light, but most likely that will be midday.









Don't know what to wear? I got you! When you book with me I'll send you a Client Style Guide which includes advice on what to wear for your whole family. I know this can be the most stressful part, so I'm here to help! You can text or message me about outfits if you still need help deciding!









Of course you can suggest poses! I am always open to ideas you may have. Most sessions I have a location in mind and will set you up there with specific poses. I'll have you look at me for the pretty smile/posed ones and then once I get those I'll take the more candid, organic, easy, fun ones! Ones where you can act silly, laugh, tickle each other, you know, look like you like each other! This is more the style I have when shooting and it's the photos that bring out your personality and are the most YOU! Don't worry, I'll try not to make it too awkward following you around with my big black camera :)










You will get your digital images through my online gallery within 1 week of our session. These files are your to download (for free!) and print them wherever and whenever you would like!










If it's supposed to rain but just looks cloudy, that is perfectly fine! Cloudy days make for some great lighting in pictures. Lots of times cloudy days turn into amazing sunsets as well! If there is a high chance of rain or its been raining ALL day we will reschedule for another day in the near future.









YES! I love dogs! I know it can be hard to get those perfect shots with your fur baby but we sure will try and they make for some awfully cute Christmas cards!
